ES200

Insulation testing is essential for identifying the resistance of high voltages in the electrical components of Electric Vehicles (EVs). By conducting insulation tests, one ensures that the EV's electrical components are in optimal condition, adhering to specified parameters for a safe driving experience and efficient EV operation. During Insulation Resistance testing, DC high voltage is transmitted from the E pole to the L pole, generating current between these poles. The resulting insulation resistance is then displayed on the screen through I/V conversion and calculation. This resistance reflects the leakage current of the insulation material between the live part and the exposed non-live metal part (shell). Different products may employ varying DC high voltage values, such as 500V, 1000V, 2500V, etc., with a minimum safe insulation resistance value being established. If the measured resistance value falls below the designated safe threshold, there is a potential risk of electric shock.
